about
I'm a mixed media painter and photographer who has been creating Art since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I work in oil, encaustic, gold leaf, ancient "lost techniques" and Alchemy, and computer manipulated Photography.
I have studied art history and method as an undergraduate Art Major at Muhlenberg College and The Sorbonne, and in continuing education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), where I also served on the Board of Trustees. I have studied extensively with Mentors at R&F Encaustics in Rhinebeck, NY, as well as under the Mentorship of Alex and Allyson Grey, who have encouraged and provided example for my Visionary Work.
I am currently working out of my Studio located in the outskirts of Philadelphia, and I am accepting Commissions for Visionary Portraits and other work.
“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
